The day came

The day came.
But
you did not.
-------------
Llegó el día.
Pero
tú no.

Yesterday I remembered
how we used to fuck
you and I
when we were in
love
I remembered your face
and your hands and
the way you breathed
and I did not
recognize
you
at all.
-------------
Ayer recordé
cómo follábamos
tú y yo
cuando nos
queríamos
Recordé tu cara
y tus manos y
tu forma de respirar
y no
te
reconocí.

Nadie me ha tocado nunca

Lloré tanto y tan sola

que se enteraron todos los vecinos.
En el baño, desnuda, me miré
en el espejo.
Nadie me ha tocado
nunca.

volví a llorar mucho
y muy sola, dentro de una cama
enorme
y confesé con voz débil que os odio a todos
Salí al balcón y el sol
me perdonó y el viento
me acarició el pelo porque
nadie más puede hacerlo porque
nadie me ha tocado nunca
y nadie volverá a tocarme jamás.

Después recordé algo que dijiste
hace mucho tiempo
y mucho después de lo que dijiste

comprendí.
---------------
I cried so much and so lonely

that all the neighbours heard.
In the bathtrooom I was naked and stared at myself
in the mirror.
Nobody ever touched
me.

then i cried again so much
and so alone, inside a bed that was
huge
and confessed in a tiny voice that i hate you all
I went into the balcony and the sun
forgave me and the wind
stroke my hair for
nobody else can for
nobody ever touched me
and nodoby will ever touch me anymore.

Then I remembered something you said
a long time ago
and then long after what you said I

understood.

takk

thanks for saying you're back
thanks for minding my name in your prayer
thanks for your kiss

you already know
me.

as much as i know that you tried
your best to understand
you understood nothing
at all.
-----------------------
sé que intentaste
comprender con todas tus fuerzas
pero no comprendiste
nada.

may my heart always be open to little
birds who are the secrets of living
whatever they sing is better than to know
and if men should not hear them men are old

may my mind stroll about hungry
and fearless and thirsty and supple
and even if it's sunday may i be wrong
for whenever men are right they are not young

and may myself do nothing usefully
and love yourself so more than truly
there's never been quite such a fool who could fail
pulling all the sky over him with one smile
